To be honest, I’m pretty sure this book is racist against white people.
I read the book from cover to cover and while I get the message they are trying to teach, walking away from this book you’d think ALL white people are racist.
And pretty sure evicting people isn’t racist - I’m no lawyer but I am fairly sure there are renter protection and other such laws to help keep people in their homes if they are paying their bills.
Also, I don’t think the book does a good job defining poor areas vs “non white areas”. And locking your doors while driving is automatic lol.
I really don’t understand where the “whiteness” plays a part! And the contract about being white means you get stolen land!?!? If that were true, I wonder where my stolen land is cause I wasn’t given any when I was born. All my property comes from working hard and saving money over many years. But maybe hard work is my whiteness speaking /end_sarcasim
Pretty sure if my child read this he would think his dad is super racist (just because he is white and for no other reason)
