There's always a nuisance to travelling that is motion sickness. Heck motion sickness and travelling can't be together!!! I know I know and this is the case with most of us and so does it's with our female protagonist Puja. Travelling has always frightened her due to her embarrassing childhood motion sickness experience. Mostly scrolling Instagram and doing nothing are her favourite vacay hobbies. But this time her mother enrolled her in a social work programme which she is not interested at all and do not want to attend. Albeit she has to leave the comfort of her luxurious home and face her greatest fear of motion sickness. At the programme, she meets Arush who has come from the UK. Arush is ambitious while Puja is the opposite of him. Now you must be thinking that oh they have met and now they'll fall in love. A typical love story. Well, umm...you are right but that's not the whole case. Do you want to know what's going to happen next then grab a copy today. This is my first book from the author and I liked her writing style. The story is gripping and the narration is easy to comprehend. What I liked the most is that in the simplest way she has described that expectations do harm, give your children the liberty to be an "individual" and reckless decisions ain't an escape from the reality. Kerala has always been on my travel list and after reading this book I badly want to explore beautiful mural arts, museums and nature. It is a light read and I'll recommend this book to all especially to stubborn kids and daunting parents.

About the book: ➡️Coming to the book, it is a short fast-paced book. ➡️It has small gripping and engaging chapters. ➡️Language is simple and lucid. ➡️At the beginning of each chapter, there is a biblical verse which is related to the chapter. Why you should read it? ➡️If you are looking for a good dose of friendship, romance, thrill and crime in a short read you should pick this one. ➡️ For a mind-boggling climax. ➡️ To get chilled thrills or paranormal experience in between the story. ➡️ If you are in reading slump and wants a refreshing read. The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini We spoke our first words. Mine was Baba. His was Amir. My name. After reading above, I somewhere knew that it's gonna be wounding. As I turned the pages I felt the lump in my throat being heavier and heavier, choking and aching. No, I didn't cry. Tears though tried to roll down my cheeks but I didn't cry. I had lived and experienced every word, every sentence. Felt the contentment of loyalty, friendship. Felt the agony of betrayal, cowardice, jealousy and so-called pride and honour. It's gut-wrenching. I had been through the places where sultans of Kabul used to play and read Shahnamah. I had cherished the beautiful moments and tasted scrumptious kabob. I had been through the streets where the horrific incidents happened. I had felt guilt and redemption. If I have to describe this book in one word it would be a masterpiece. Khaled Hosseini is truly a storyteller. The words come alive and shatter you into pieces. It's devastating to read the horrendous things that happened in the lives of two young boys and their country. One of the beautiful things of this book is that it had beautifully portrayed the characters with their flaws, vulnerabilities and insecurities. I won't say I read it in one or two sittings. I took my time to read this masterpiece and had experienced every bit of it. Ah, memorable read!
