We really looked forward to this film. But oh my were we disappointed. If you’re making a thriller, you can’t put all the power in the hands of one madman. There has to be at least the hope of a power balance. Other than Chef S all the other characters were weak and submissive. Hence, no tension whatsoever. One could see the ending coming from miles away. Anna T-J gets away but doesn’t truly engage the madman. Just such a disappointment.
