It's an amusing, pleasing, and well written book by Gail Honeyman. Character description is on point. In the beginning, I was finding it a little boring and was confused about Eleanor's character. But soon the story started to have pace.
Eleanor thinks that she's fine on her own and what she has is sufficient but the journey, of how she realises that it's okay to love and being loved, is beautiful.
This was an unusual romcom(to a certain extent) which was captivating in its own way.
It also tells us that humans are social animal and so they need each other for survival. Also, expressing oneself whether through words or gestures is very important for healthy human relationships.
