I really like this movie, the comedy bit was okay but in reality it really felt like this would happen, SPOILERS. Aborting a mission because there’s minerals sounds like what rich billionaires would do and the fact that you have people believing the comet isn’t a thing just shows the stupidity of humanity, if you give this a 1 star view saying “it’s trying to show stupidity in the American people” that’s the whole point, people don’t believe in stuff because they are told so and because of their political ideologies. It’s stupid. This is my opinion on the movie and although I am more right leaning politically, I feel that people who get upset about this really shows what their stance was when the pandemic hit. Believing a president that literally told you to drink hand sanitizer. 9/10
