i dont care what anybody else says, i love this movie. i feel like it perfectly shows the emotions and encapsulates different mental issues. its creepy, slow and lots of talking, which is nice for a creepy(ish) movie. i like how it leaves a lot of different things unexplained and unmentioned. it shows discomfort, confusion, fear and concern without people screaming every five minutes and murder. not every horror movie is the same, and i think this one is a nice break from more common movies whilst still maintaining the creepy value. ill definitely read the book too!!
