A sequel never outperforms an original but the story line plays into the original very well. For all the critics who are not impressed with a 30 yr old story it still did a good job of adding new/current elements to a modern day movie. In keeping with the plot, reviews of “critics lack of new story line” because of the present climate in these challenging times people need to relax and just enjoy the comedy. I think for some there maybe a generation, racist and cultural disconnect being taken to seriously. It’s just a comedy movie people! I’m sure other people would have made it differently but overall it did a good job with the blend of old and new characters/actors.
