An tom and Jerry type folk tale of India get pictured in the form of this film, which actually used to be narated in the form of puppetry, but with different theme and story. Even in one scene this puppet story is being seen in the movie. Overall a good family picture with a little bit tilt towards classical art genere. Fun watching it and enjoyed acting of Big b and anshuman. Well written and directed too.

Only movie, till now on Partition, which depict real picture and trouble faced by peoples at that time due to partition. It shows how partition created a trouble for those muslims who actually stands with India and opposed jinha plan. Literally the problem of credit for muslim due to lack of trust, even in bank like PNB amassed me, and put forward ground reality of the time. How a family get scattered and sliced between two countries, how a person who lived his whole life at a place become outsider for it and have to register at local police station for staying in his own birth place, projected a completely different picture of partition. Watching movie in 2019 make me to do retrospect on how we as Indian have evolved and faced and learnt from partition. How diversity of India shaped, specially me as hindu seeing marriages between fist cousins, put forward a different perspective & made me bit uncomfortable but that's the beauty of India, you can find any thing but only thing. Must watch film for every Indian and Pakistanis to retrospect and question our arch rivalry.
