It's becoming more common to find a film where the supporting cast is better than the actual lead and in the case of The Out-Laws this holds true. Adam DeVine, the "star" of this film is the one reason this film won't get better ratings. His character of Owen, the stammering, klutzy man child gets so irritating, so quickly, you'd wish his part was actually played by a child actor. Not sure what the people behind this film (yeah, I'm looking at YOU Adam Sandler!) were thinking casting such an unfunny person in what could have been a great film, but boy did they blow it on this one!!

I was hoping it would be closer to the George Romero film, but sadly, it's far from it. The storyline is extremely weak and most of the characters are completely unlikable. I'll be surprised if the series gets a second season.....

Saw this film at the Toronto International Film Festival and I enjoyed it immensely with it's unique blend of action and humour. It's just sad it has never had a North American video release...

A classic modern gangster film in the vein of Scarface. Bob Hoskins is the King of Crime in London with Helen Mirren as his lovely and loyal consort. A well paced film of action and violence in the murky world of the London Underworld with plenty of atmosphere and a music score that will linger in your head long after the film ends - I highly recommend this film for fans of crime movies or to those who are about to embrace Guy Ritchie's work or even Tarantino's early films
