I have read a lot of Clive Barker and his stories are amazing! However when they try to adapt them to the screen they always fail miserably with the exception of hell raiser in my opinion. I must say though I was impressed with books of blood. Definitely a strong Barker feel throughout the movie. I thought it started a little weak but when it all came together I was pleased.
