This being the only such programme I view regularly this is not comparative. But I have watched almost every episode for many months. Evan and Joyce (I presume with a good research team) highlight almost all important political and newsworthy event. Their expert guests are usually at the crux of most developments and should keep Canadians attuned to major issues especially the Covid crisis. Unfortunately most of our Government spokespersons are more liable to obfuscate than to provide clear explanations. The comparison between Government officials and other guests in trying to provide pertinent is positive for most guests and highly negative for most Government officials. It must be frustrating for Joyce and Evan and I congratulate them on continuing to push for honest answers. The programme intent and format is excellent and only falls short because our Government appears be pursuing the mushroom farm strategy in its obligations to Canadian people. The number of specific items since our current Liberal government took office is appalling. I encourage Power Play to continue in its efforts despite my reservations. I must state that I have never before in 35 years of government service (many years retired) been so pessimistic about our Government's willingness to honestly and openly serve Canada.
