Watched it again after the release now, you really feel pity for Kareena Kapoor's character, the way dolly became victim of politics played by Langda Tyagi. Film of love, ambitions and jealousy. Cons- Diction of Hindi Heartland could have been adopted better by Bollywood stars

Some may say it's Amitabh Bachchan"s movie. For me it's Irafan Khan's film

I first saw ratings and then reviews. Waa watching with my son, initially he found it very slow and boring but later he found it comic. From an adult angle this is such a story, such a craft, so many emotions packed in one bag. Loved it

It's a mix of Chakde and 83. Could have been much better. Though the sporting scenes are filmed really well

I m giving it 4 stars bcz in an attempt to cover Sam's entire life film could not focus. Mostly the film keeps you engaged. Vicky and side characters have done good job. My wish if Indira"s character was done by someone else. She was very tall and strong here she looked so fragile and week. Songs were good. Film keeps you engaged always. Pure U film which kids of any age can watch. Some dialogues and scenes were not written well but you can ignore them

After lot of search found this film on you sans songs. Songs were missing in the YouTube movie. It is surely master piece, Rekha looked stunning with all her jewels. Ensembled big cast. Movie was bold for its time, but as per the period it was showing.
