The best part of the show was Georgia. The show really took time to peel through the layers of her character and history. Unfortunately the same wasn’t done for Ginny’s character. Ginny’s story line was extremely annoying to watch. Her character never matured. I thought the bratty angry teenager act was as Georgia puts it- boring. The writers made it really difficult to like Ginny or sympathize with her in anyway. She’s constantly exploding on everyone, lying and deceitful, & judging people on her high horse. How many times do we have to watch her have a tantrum or slam her door? The answer- wayyy too many. I think the scenes that touched on microagressions & challenges that she faced as someone who is mixed race and half black were important to put on TV but aside from that- she really was so annoying and bratty.
