Anyone trying to review or explain this movie - don't even try. The only thing I can say for certain is that you have never seen anything like Beau is Afraid.
You will either be absolutely so entranced and love the movie that you cannot look away for 1 second, or you will hate it and turn it off within 20 minutes.
I feel that Ari Aster and Jordan Peele are just the ones to watch at the moment and I am so excited to see what they come up with next.
This is one of the most original ideas for a movie that I have seen in a very long time, and is brilliantly executed.

Very intriguing movie. Cinematography 10/10 I thought there were some really interesting and clever shots. Story was enticing too although I was wanting more. Would recommend.

Didn't enjoy it at all. Within the first 15 minutes they say exactly what the movie is about and what's going to happen. And it happens exactly that way. No real twists or added plot thickeners, quite boring.

I enjoyed watching this. I expected worse based on the reviews but there are no cringe moments, the scenery and cinematography is brilliant, the acting is genius (of course, Jackman & Newton). And the story was captivating. The action scenes really surprised me! I thought it was going to be soft but it was satisfying.

It was hard to get through. After watching Sandler in Uncut Gems I really developed a whole new respect for the guy. Sandler has always been a family favourite but this clumsy attempt at tween humour is a huge step backwards in his career imo.
Earlier Sandler movies were silly but actually funny. This is just silly with no laughable moments.
