It’s always dangerous for a horse person to go to a horse movie but sometimes we can be pleasantly surprised. This time was not one of those, however. I tried to suspend belief (and the fact that Robert Redford was Exec Producer have me hope) but it was a real disappointment. Inconsistent and unrealistic (seriously, taking the horses into the kitchen for a thunderstorm?? When they were supposedly barely able to be handled? And no one died? Please.) Could have been a good, important story but it sure wasn’t.
