The book is written with a 7th grade English level. The main character initially follows some scientific method to solve his problem but then irrationally afterwards. The romantic side of the story is rather tiresome and repetitive. The title of the book is misleading as the book has nothing to do with ‘dark matter’ as a physical concept. The author squanders a good plot with cheap thrills and catchy physics concepts instead of developing more meaningful and thought provoking dialogues.

Best Sci-fi by a long shot. CGI is seamless and mesmerizing. A rich script is full of thought provoking lines and plenty of current social themes are mapped into a very credible future. Characters are complex and well developed and a great plot hooks you with cliffhanger after cliffhanger. Watch it!
