Remember this is another remake of THE TURN OF THE SCREW. There isn’t any movie that compares with the written story. But if you’ve watched the other films, including THE OTHERS with Nicole Kidman, this adaptation borrows too much from Hill House which I rate 5 stars. It’s not meant to be a horror story as much as an eerie, spooky one. It was a struggle for me to stick with yet another redo of the same story, whereas The Haunting at Hill House kept me glued to the screen then watching again to catch all those great nuances! It’s just not fair to compare the two because Hill House was fresh and Bly Manor has been regurgitated too many times.

Really really bummed that I’m gonna stop watching the show..:(( the legal drama was so relevant but then it just had to go there.. I’m not a “hater” about homosexuality/ bisexuality but I’m not a voyeur either. IS IT TOO HARD TO UNDERSTAND THAT I JUST DONT WANNA WATCH?!?! That being said , buh bye to another “would be” Excellent mature legal drama.. Everyone wants to be a part of the popular crowd. ugh... PS; check out ENEMY WITHIN! Good writing and acting and haven’t had to watch Jennifer Carpenter’s character fall back on the safety net- her acting skills stand on their own 👍🏼

Why are the movie critics claiming this movie is so phenomenal?? It was too staged. It seemed they filled empty space with Lady Gaga’s amazing voice. Bradley Cooper’s voice was unbearably phony except while singing- I don’t think Bradley Cooper has “The Gift” I.e., Ron Howard, Robert Redford or Clint Eastwood. In a great movie, I become captivated- a part of it & FEEL it. This movie honestly made me cover my eyes, shake my head, and even let out an embarrassing laugh (embarrassing for Bradley cooper’s directorial debut) in the theatre and I wasn’t the only one! I think it’s tine to let A STAR IS BORN die with a little dignity- I think it was an attempt at evoking the same viewer response as LOVE STORY, but no way.. barely a rental- Sorry Bradley ❤️
