Lot’s of anticipation for this and hope it might capture the magic of the movies but unfortunately falls short in every aspect. None of the characters have any proper depth, easy and predictable storytelling.

Understandable when needing to adapt to a screen play changes have to be made, characters have to change. But the TV series completely misses the essence of the books, and what made them great. It is just another quick to screen sci fi production from a bunch of folks who probably never really understood the books but wanted to grab some famous names, plot holes and ideas to boost their ratings.
