It was a great movie and it gave the viewer many perspectives.
First, he showed Hana Schmitz as a kind and helpful person, and then he revealed his past to us.
Was she a bad person? Or was she just someone doing her job?
How is a good person and a bad person defined?
Is it something inherent? Or is it the actions of a person that make him good or bad?
These are the questions that arise in the mind of the audience and this is one of the very positive points of the film.
Another thing that made me realize is doubt.
Doubt deprives a person of the ability to make a decision and leads him to silence.
What made the young Michael unable to provide the information he has about Hena to the court, and the other defendants of the court took advantage of Hena's shyness and loneliness, and put all the responsibility of the crimes on her shoulders.
Another point is to give hope and be kind. Hana helped Michael when he was sick and helpless alone in an alley and hugged him and accompany him to his home.
But at the end of the movie, when Hena was in the exact same situation, he didn't do these things for her. Even in my opinion, if Michael had simply hugged and caressed Hana at the end of the meeting, she would not have committed suicide; Because kindness gives people hope. And hope gives strength to mankind.
