If you love the original Mulan movie and love the story line behind it. Sorry to disappoint anyone who reads this but they change everything in this movie that made Mulan a great movie. The characters that made it funny and amusing to watch along with the Music has made it Extremely boring, unamusing, dull, confusing and more. This is not the Mulan movie I wanted to see. How Mulan already had abilities of Having fighting skills as a kid was a different spin to the story line and that was okay, but then changing the whole story that made Mulan Great In the first place was to see how she changes and develops as a character from a woman who didn’t know who she was as a person, to a character that not only risked her life to go for father who was old and sick But to betray as a man since she felt she already had dishonored her family. Her struggles trying to be be a man in the army Who got beat up, was weak, Was not strong, was by herself needing guidance by her guardian Mushu to go through the tough times that he put her through as well. She almost gives up but kept pushing through and becomes the best warrior in China who is strong and Courageous. No one can stand in her way with her wonderful friends she had made and with her love Shang that helped her push her to “ make a man out of her”. This is a Disney movie!!. Where is the music? The singing? The humor ? Trying to be all so serious but the acting and fighting scenes was just so terrible it made me laugh on how disappointing it was. I love Disney but shame on you. With all of the recents Disney movies life action movies are literally trash. I rather still watch the original Mulan movie 1998. Do me a favor Disney and please stop ruining the movies as we were once kids, loving and growing up with those movies. Turning it into something we hate and can’t even stand to watch. I lost my attention to this movie and definitely a good movie to go to sleep to.
