I was so disappointed in this movie. I was ready for changes to the story but they’ve made it so boring and taken all of the parts of Mulan that we loved - her outspoken, hard working, spirited nature, and they’ve made her naturally talented, a skilled fighter, etc. She almost barely speaks in this movie. It is so weird. The addition of the witch is so completely unnecessary. Remember when we were worried that the removal of the songs were going to ruin this movie? Even the songs wouldn’t have saved this movie. Going to watch the original now as eye bleach.
