It's a straight forward murder mystery, well, multiple murders actually. The bad guy preys upon lonely vulnerable girls, gets total access to their possessions and bank/credit accounts then destroys them. The girls are the greenhouses that become 'burnt' and totally disappear. The film is a brilliant modern take on the traditional 'whodunit' genre.
