Hello, I'm Miss Mermaid and I've been using the Crystal Visions Tarot deck professionally for several years. I've bought many decks because they do wear out eventually, then I give them to my friends who also love them. I gave a deck to my daughter for her birthday and of course, she loves the illustrations too. The size of this deck is nice and slim so it easily fits into my hands and it shuffles nicely because the card stock isn't overly shiny and sticky or matte which doesn't wear well. When reading a spread, it's much easier to read than most other decks because the artist, Jennifer Galasso, has used a logical dominant color for each element. Reds for fire, greens for earth, purples for water, and grey for swords/air. By color coding the elements, I don't need to think, which is the goal when using the other side of the brain to intuit, listening to Spirit instead. Most of the imagery uses the classic Rider Waite format, which is "user friendly" since most decks use this format. However, she has used artistic license and creativity to redo the imagery for some of the more "scary" cards such as Death, and the Devil cards. This puts my clients at ease, another goal for a spiritual healer. Many of the cards have a much more optimistic feeling too - again, we usually don't need more drama! Overall, this is a beautiful deck to use and enjoy and I'm grateful to Jennifer Galasso for creating this gorgeous deck! Thank you Love!
