I thought the part with Big Dog was sad. The character drives away leaving Big Dog running after her car on the road. And then, to make it worse, Big Dog gets old alone and lonely. Then, to make it even worse, Big Dog walks in the bushes and dies. Not good at all.
I raised Big Dog until she was one year old. She was an awesome happy playful dog. She is an English Mastiff. She was never a rescue or an African Boerbel as the movie reviews state. I gave her to a great lady for $1.00 who has trained her well and put her in the movie which was filmed in Winnipeg. She went to a great home with a great lady unlike her lonely fate in the Dog’s Journey.
