If there were a 0 star option, I wouldn’t even give it that! Kalki - Literally a kalank on the indian film industry. Only the 1st & the last scene of the movie are worth opening 1 eye for but alas the rest is a complete work of utter embarrassment for the indian cinema. What could’ve been an astonishing, riveting & a novel piece of art is massacred and beaten to death by the writers and the director. Prabhas is the worst rip off of ‘Star Lord’ played by Chris Pratt in Guardians of the galaxy. It almost seems like the writers asked him to watch that movie, come to the set next day and imitate him. Such a waste of character! Oh the nemesis, the villian. I have no words, completely utterly speechless! With no real development of the world and a lousy undertaking of this fictional universe the writers have truly sucked. Finally the only thing that could salvage the movie was AB’s and DP’s acting but my heart screams because either they left their brains out to be a part of this movie or they got fried along the way. Wish someone could grant me those hours back. I challenge the director as well as the writers that I single-handedly could do a better job than them.

The movie overall is very well crafted. Not having read the novel on which it’s based I can say the plot is pretty convincing, the acting is one of it’s cliches. The story doesn’t bore rather the suspense grips you. It could’ve been better if they would’ve done a mini series on it and tried to explore the relationships and the past of the protagonist.

Classical music - the unexplored melody of india and the world. This show truly showcases the music to it’s epitome. The only things that lacks is the somewhat loose storyline but there is the composition and a hell lot of jokes to counter it. A must watch
