So, I read some of the other comments and the problem was tergiversation of the writers. They were trying to appeal to both a teenage and adult audiences and in their effort alienated both TO A DEGREE. I actually enjoyed it. I loved Chatwin's performance. Selma Blair and her storyline could actually be extremely promising. Netflix needs to decide if it is for adults or kids and then write the script accordingly. The sex scenes were completely fake. The chemistry between some characters just ugh. Javier....FANTASTIC. I don't know the actor but wish him the best moving forward. Katee, I thought needed some backup on the screen her and Sam were good but the other storylines read like gossip girl in space. Netflix green light season two please. The storyline is good and has PROMISE. The actors have the ability lets just get them a viable script.
