History will not be kind to this movie. I do not blame the cast or director I blame the producers and executives.

Nick Cage at his best. A Film about loss and living with it and with great supporting performances all round. It has so many layers to it I will rewatch this multiple times.

Way too many flashbacks, poor action and all the recent tropes from current movies. Yes it's a story about Love and connection but I think Interstellar did a much better job of explaining this and on a grandeur scale. Had some small interesting ideas which could have been expanded upon, simulation within a simulation (has Neo been the architect of his own universe all along?) alas it followed a predictable path to it's conclusion. I think the seed of a great movie is there but it has been ruined by the Hollywood meat grinder.

Great film perhaps sly's best performance. Brought PTSD to the forefront way before anything else at the time and why we create these men and then forget about them.

One of the best and realistic tank warfare films ever made. It depicts war in all of its horror and misery with small glimpses of humanity shown briefly.
