Tonight's show on school violence was special. 13 years ago my son was almost a school bomber in the 8th grade. I steeped in and told the police liaison officer, the principle, and his therapist. It was the hardest thing I ever did to turn my child in. but It saved him and what ever might have happened. he was sent to the hospital and a long day day program and out of school for a semester. Intervention helped him develop social skills, coping skills and a new outlook. I am proud to say he is going to graduate this spring with a degree in material science engineering. These kids can be saved if we pay attention and use the resources available to us. It took a community of helpers to save my son, by doing this they changed the course of history and a mass causality was averted. Thank you for showing this important subject and the announcements afterward.
