This movie is ridiculous. Despite being well shot and reasonably produced, the storyline is amateur, the script is terrible and the acting is worst I’ve seen in a long time. With a bit more work it might have made a semi-decent comedy, but the time you will waste watching this is nothing to laugh about.

This is a terrible film; such a disappointment. While it has some great moments of humour and compelling dialogue, it’s depiction of modern day Vietnam is nothing short of embarrassing, and no doubt insulting to anyone who knows even a little about the country, it’s people, and it’s history. Whatever messages Spike Lee hope to carry through the film are diluted to the point of ignorance by its lazy, misguided and simply false characterisations and geographic inconsistencies.
