This show is EPIC! It is all together enchanting, relatable, and deeply layered. The writers and directors create a beautiful dichotomy between the two main characters. This is visually communicated to the audience through a genius contrast of black and white.

This show is severely UNDERRATED! Just because it barely references the comics and has no significant connection to the MCU does not make it a bad show. In fact, it's quite the contrary. It's shot beautifully, the writing is sharp, and the cast is beyond stellar especially the mom who's performance transitions from caring to creepy to catatonic and back again so effortlessly it is absolutely memorizing.
