I've enjoyed the plots for the most part and like the format. I agree with Roger Ebert's website saying that 44 minutes just isn't time to do this. With each ending I feel like it ended too abruptly.

This is one of the most captivating tv dramas that I've watched in years! I can't remember the last time I watched a show and couldn't wait for the next episode (except maybe the first few episodes of This is Us). The acting and writing are excellent. I was disappointed when the series didn't catch on in the beginning but now with its new time slot, it is gaining popularity. Here's to many more seasons!

In my opinion, this show has been boring from the beginning. The characters are bland, with the exception of Dr. Charles (psychiatrist). I happened across four seasons of Night Shift on Netflix and it reminded me of what a good medical drama could be with compelling characters and edge-of-your-seat story lines. Really too bad the writers couldn't join Chicago Med.
