As an adoption social worker , I valued the research that had gone into this script. Parts mirrored the process and the fun ad lib meant you fell in love with all the characters. I loved the little boy's foster carer. The back bone of his adoption journey and his stepping stone to his future. All adoption stories show parents with resilience from their own challenges in the past what ever their parenting capacity. So glad that due to programmes like this that people know what I do and how privileged I feel to support the families I work with after 26 years of social work.

An excellent film, not so well known but so worth watching.
