This is a brilliant book that meets every convention of Western fiction, but then goes far beyond. The characters are all unique and memorable, the subplots all add to the main and conclude nicely, and there are twists! I loved every moment of this debut book. It's clear this author knows their guns, horses and how to treat a woman.
