Look, this movie isn't chasing Oscar nominations. But IMO it delivers as promised...a good ol' fashioned Godzilla stompfest of a Kaiju beatdown....not trying to repeat the underlying message of some of the more thought provoking originals....yeah, the plots wafer thin, but so was Pacific Rim...hell some of my favorite Godzilla movies were awesomely bad,MST3K bad in terms of plot and dialogue, made worse by the dubbing of the day,and we still love those films....find the largest screen your favorite cinema offers, park your ass down right in the middle of the theater with a big ass coke (or whatever) and a heavily buttered tub of popcorn ,and just enjoy the hell outta this movie for what it is...and if you're still that worried?....catch an earlier showing on Tuesday...might be a lot cheaper in some places....😈
