I'm 40 years old. I've seen all the predator movies, and I will hear no nay-saying over this one. What a great, edge-of-my-seat film this was from start to finish. I simply cannot wrap my mind around how this film did ANYTHING wrong or received anything less than 8 or 9 out of 10. It totally delivered! This could even serve as a reboot or starting point for newcomers, there was so little to nothing wrong with this film, my mind is boggled as to why I'm seeing less than 8 out of 10. Was it because Mr. 100 yr old- Schwarzenegger wasn't in it?! I don't get it, bc this was awesome!

Great film. So strange reading other reviews with low ratings. So this seems like it's a hit or miss for most people. For me, it was a hit. I was thoroughly intrigued by the movie start-to-finish. There are plenty of movies where %100 of it is not explained, but I think that lends itself well to this type of film, having to do with sleep and nightmares. Dreams dont always make sense %100 of the time. I liked the sound, camera work, dream sequences. Imo everything was done quite well. If you are into this sort of stuff (REM, shadow people, sleep paralysis, sleepwalking, etc.) there shouldn't be much reason not to enjoy it. -SPOILERS WARNING- I thought the entire ending sequence was awesome, from her going missing at the hospital to the very ending of the movie. I will say that an interesting question for me to have answered is: Was she always in a coma or did it happen at some point during the experiments or was it all a mishmash of everything she knows plus current events? Like they say people in a coma can still hear.. so how might outside conversations surrounding her, affect the dream? I might be way off or maybe there is a ton more to dig into here but as it is, I still really enjoyed it. Top marks.

Great movie! I did not expect this to be that good. I liked the twists. I liked how a lot more characters had a lot more depth to them, even outside the main characters. If they had 2 hr of runtime, I would have like to see the outside world they came from and some backstory flashbacks. Especially for the lowers but also the uppers.

Overall good movie. Cant really bother with #s or stars. It imo was just a good movie. Change your life? no. Good time? Yeah.

Probably one of the best films I've ever seen. Possessor IMO was a true 'experience.' The sound and camera work, the direction, was perfect, all acting was flawless. It was just 'wow!' One has to be in just the right mood to truly absorb this movie. In my case, I was alone and comfortable. The lights were out, and the drinks were flowing prior to the start. My headphones were on and I was completely ready and undisturbed. Plus, I had very little idea about what to expect. Only seeing a poster it looked like another exorcism reboot. It is not. It is very sci-fi and personal and serious. It also had some pretty deep messages about more than what I expected. This gave the film more cred to add to the heart, which it had plenty of. Also not to sound weird but I really appreciate the level of attention deaths were given. They didn’t shy away at all, instead, getting closer than you’d like and showing that death is a very ugly and messy business. This added to the struggle the protagonist faced. But if I say more it's heading into spoiler territory. It's really hard to put everything to words after the whole ‘experience,’ except to say bravo to everyone involved in making this film and to beg anyone who comes across this to give this one a try. (PS not at all for the squeamish) And to all the negative Nancies saying it's nothing new, let me hit you with a news flash, almost nothing is, it's not about what story you tell, but how you tell it, and in that way, this one was a masterpiece.
