I’ll be completely honest, there were things about this movie that I liked….but not much. Cinematically it’s hauntingly beautiful. It captures the vastness of the Australian desert which makes you never want to step foot out there! Zac Efron plays a character that we haven’t seen in him before and the dark mysterious blistering sore broken man is something he should revisit. And that’s about where the good stuff ends. The movie was the most predictable piece of writing I have ever witnessed which made the ending frustrating to say the least. It actually had so much potential too! So if you’re like me and you love cinematography, give it a go. But prepare yourself to be disappointed in so many other ways.
