This movie was just not good. Another big Hollywood movie with expensive effects, and "big name" washed up actors but which is poorly written. They just have to go get a blood sample from each of three dinosaurs - one terrestrial, one aquatic, and the last one that flies. Not worthy of Michael Crichton's legacy. Also, Scarlet Johansen is like 50 something now and it shows. 👎

Overall a good zombie movie. People are saying the plot is pointless; I found the movie to mean that the main characters took purpose that was not initially what they had intended. I was also surprised to see a movie set in England that featured English people with English flags using bows and arrows and doing English stuff. I didn't think that was allowed.

A gay romance in which the fantastic beasts guy is gay and that's the big reveal to blow your mind like 6 or so episodes in.

I was hopeful because I really liked the first one, a classic. This was as bad as the failed Ghostbusters reboot of 2016 (terrible!). Zero-effort cash grab that (correctly?) assumed there was a built-in audience because of the first film and nostalgia. I've got to give it to the folks who did 2024 Betelgeuse tho; that one was very good.

Great job, very well done. Not the typical zero-effort-cash-grab-reboot. If you like the original, you'll like this one. Same theme, tone, style of humor with a new storyline. Saw it in the theatre, laughed many times, not too scary or raunchy for my young kid, still humor for the adults. Really, great job.

Would have given 3.5 stars. Not an option? Basically Guns Akimbo Part II but less funny and with worse fight scenes. Still better than most hyped shows on Netflix. Meh

Would have given 2.5; hard to rate fairly in one rating because it was really good in the beginning but more recently has taken a shift to appease the political left specifically. I don't care that they do that, just not for me (anymore). If you like woke content, and many do, you'll probably like it since they kept up with the violence, drama etc. that the show was known for, but I don't actually enjoy what it has become. Republicans are Nazis, got it. Also, Starfire or whatever that character's name is had a lot of (bad) plastic surgery to her face. She doesn't look like the same girl anymore and I can't shake the awareness of that.

Hey, they managed to make a series that has a diverse cast (which I do not give af) and actually make it a good show that is worth watching instead of a woke sermon. Hopefully, this marks filmmakers figuring it out. I never played the game and only barely heard of it, so new to the storyline. Acting, writing, set design, costumes, choreography, gore, humor, explosions, all there. Very cool. *****
