I was looking forward to seeing Michael Dorman in a new series, he was great in the apple TV show. I just couldn't watch any further than the 3rd episode, the support cast is just so terrible, it was cringy to watch a good actor be surrounded by amateur actors (save for the wife and daughter who do a great job in their own). Now I'm not any expert on acting, so why do I make a big deal about the supporting crew? The other characters are important in telling a story, developing a storyline, if they're not believable or the writing doesn't make sense, you lose my interest. Had they surrounded Michael Dorman with quality actors I could look past the 2nd hand embarrassing actors but they were just so bad I couldn't watch past the 3rd episode, even then I was fast forwarding the scenes. Finally, when I saw comedy actor David Alan Grier as an "serious old cowboy" as another reviewer put it, I can not get the image of him out of my head playing the guitar saying "garlic makes my feet stink".
