I’ll give Dummywood big credit for choosing completely unskilled, incompetent clowns to play the main characters instead of unkillable, highly skilled John Wick style heros. It really makes a “found footage” movie feel realistic. 😂😂😂 Seriously though, the writers at least could’ve given the actors a tiny bit of common sense. 🙄

It was ok. The main character wasn’t near good enough to lead but the supporting cast helped. Basically a kid joins the military but turns out to be a terrible soldier. His friends (and much better soldiers) die all around him, while his plot armor keeps him alive battle after battle. At least that’s all I got out of it.

It’s rare to find a movie where such a small cast can carry it and keep my interest but Jennifer and Chris did a fantastic job keeping me wanting more. They genuinely had me believing they were experiencing all the emotions they went through. Was the movie perfect? No but it was very, very good and the cast made it even better. Jennifer Lawrence, Chris Pratt, Michael Sheen and Lawrence Fishburne played their parts to perfection (something I RARELY say). For those feminists and liberals who say Pratt’s character was a creep for waking up a pretty woman It must be insane to have your superhuman mental fortitude that’s strong you would live out your remaining years completely alone. He should’ve stayed lonely and eventually stood by while the ship exploded right?! 🙄😂

The stupidity of this show was mind boggling. Sure it looked cool but all it ended up being was a dressed up turd, unless you’re into seeing Godzilla for a whopping 9 minutes and no monster fight scenes, just people running around scared. The main character finally gets ahold of his wife and is aware the creatures are heading to San Francisco where she and his son are? Don’t tell them to get the heck out, instead tell them to sit around and wait for you to get there. The monsters have repeatedly used EMPs? No worries, we’ll defend San Francisco with helicopters and jets. People trying to evacuate over the bridge? Let’s have the police set up barricades over every lane to prevent them from escaping. The nuke needs to be 20 miles off the coast? Let’s chopper it INTO the city and plop it on a ship to chug it out 20 miles. Several hundred pound nuke taken underground by the monster? Parachute a small team in with ONE person knowledgable of how to disarm it. That doesn’t work? Magically pick up the nuke, carry it to ground level, bring it to the coast, put it on a boat and get it as far away as possible while avoiding two very large monsters (that might be the dumbest thing a movie has ever pitched to viewers to believe). Lots more stupidity, military shooting rifles at monsters even though missiles do nothing, barely any fighting between the monsters whatsoever, civilians put in underground locations in the city to hide instead of transported out of the city (even though all three of the creatures originated underground) and the majority of the movie was too dark. The best part? Tons of people and critics swooned over this trash. Dummywood has worked hard releasing garbage hoping viewers will have their expectations dumbed down and not notice their 3rd grade story telling by dazzling us with action scenes. Honestly, I really wanted to like this but the ridiculous writing and legendary level plot armor on the main characters was just too much. The action was a cool 8 out of 10, the writing was a solid 1 out of 10. Rating it any higher would admit I’ve allowed Hollyweird to dumb me down.

Absolutely awful unless you don’t mind a movie full of Dummywood elites making fun of little people.

If you’re into disgustingly high levels of lip smacking and eating ASMR stuff then you’ll enjoy it. If you find directors who go are incapable of lowering the volume every 5 minutes when someone is eating or drinking gross then you won’t enjoy this one bit.

SPOILERS Let me get this straight, two delusional freaks watch a ewe give birth to a 1/2 human 1/2 lamb. The wife never once considers her husband got freaky and the husband didn’t consider a stranger? They just assumed the ewe magically found human DNA? Wifey wacks the ewe mother out of jealousy and they both introduce this “thing” to the husbands brother like it’s no big deal?! Crazier yet is he barely reacts! I’m assuming this film is about how living remote can crack your psyche because it’s the only way it makes sense. Once again filmmakers have 1/2 of an idea, start making it, get bored and just end it without ever bothering to explain anything (lazy writing). Just a weird, extremely slow movie about two weirdos with tons of boring parts to pad the run time.

Just when I thought Dummywood was the only place ridiculous movies were made France reinforces the worlds belief that they’re nothing but pansy’s and says “hold my beer” making this stinker. I honestly don’t know who’s worse, the writers who thought they had a worthy script, the director for actually making it or the producer for thinking it was ready for release. The ocean recedes (even though there’s no seaweed, coral, etc.), to magically go up on land and stay there but leaves a boat behind? A person turns into a murdering, crazed psycho after only one day the poles reversed? A few sea creatures like a shark and whale (and don’t forget the crabs), get left behind but fish don’t? The ocean rushes back in but doesn’t wash anything in with it? We’re left with a pointless teenage girl only good for puking, her brother who’s as useless as you’d expect a young French boy would be and a mother who up until a few hours ago was completely worthless but somehow turns into the hero through the magic of plot armor. Anyone rating this higher than 2 needs to stop sucking up and just be honest about how terrible this was. Probably the worst foreign movie in the past decade (Hollyweird still has it beat a dozen times over easily). I still can’t get over how the magic sea water defied gravity by staying on high ground for a week. A solid 1 out of 100, complete garbage.
