As someone who enjoys the Anaconda movies and Lake Placid, this movie fell far below the bar of entertainment. I didn't go into it expecting much, but everything was just terrible. I could forgive the bad CGI on the creatures, but the poor sound mixing and the bad acting just eliminates any tension or enjoyment. People are screaming, then immediately having sedate conversation while their peers are being eaten alive.
Also, the title is Lake Placid vs Anaconda, yet even at two-thirds into the movie, the snake hasn't been seen since the beginning nor has it fought with the crocodiles at all.
