Loved all Reacher books to date. Read them all. The Sentinel is rubbish. Sorry if that’s harsh but I couldn’t find any trace of the real Reacher. The story was disjointed and the plot unbelievable. Non of the menacing Reacher thought bubbles. Too much dialogue from him and too much third party explanations to fill the pot holes in the plot. I agree with another reviewer who said that they preserved with it out of habit rather than desire. I didn’t even do that. I skipped great chunks and couldn’t bring myself to finish the last 10 pages. Indeed I almost lot my love of Lee Child and trust that this collaboration with his brother is the last of that Tom foolery.
