The movie is very, very different than the book. No I'm not talking about just shifting the location, the murders themselves are done differently, with different victims, different motives, and different murderers. The clues have been different as well. The number of characters are reduced, new characters are introduced, and some old characters are either omitted or several characters are merged together at times. The characters have same names but different personalities than the book. A ghost is introduced for no reason, there are supernatural motifs all along. Hated it, but probably because I had higher expectations. Might be okay for someone who hasn't read the book.

Completely misogynistic stupid movie. The protagonist tries to establish the idea that no matter how good a girl looks, she'll lose a guy in 10 days if she behaves the way she "typically" does. Then begins the generalization, almost stereotyping a "woman in love". It's more strange because a woman herself is throwing shade at other women and acting hysterical as if that's the way "normally" women behave (which, btw she's not, she's cool because she loves watching games and enjoys her food). But, what happens in the end? The guy falls in love with her anyway! With her fake self. The guy is putting up a front too, and she falls in love with that! But the movie will convince you that they're good people because they are the protagonists.

The makers of this completely absurd show must've used astral projection to get THIS good ratings from the viewers. Disappointing to say the least!
