Lord of the Flies remains the bible of human behaviour if left unchecked. It encapsulates frailties at an age of reason. The human laboratory experiment can be applied to humanity across all variables. It is anything but high school literature. I first studied it as a high schooler but appreciated it exponentially over the years.
