People hate on this show but I really enjoy it. As a major network series like NBC it’s a good show. No it is not the Wire but it’s leaps and bounds better than shows like any of the CSI’s or even Law and Order SVU. SVU has its times but after 20 seasons it predictable and becoming boring. The cast of CPD is good sure they all look like models but I think they do the characters justice and I like that they try and throw in some relevant topics relating to real life problems in the US. In this season they are starting to play with addiction and showing a developing pain killer addiction with a main character. It’s not a award winning show but nonetheless it’s a fun and enjoyable weekly series to stay caught up with.
