When the Hindi movie industry has failed in itscreativity, and all the shows, be it you tube comedies, movies tv series even the stand up comedians all are based on blatant or let's say unnecessary depiction of sex and slapstick humor, an accidental click on the show was a surprising relief. The first 5 to ten minutes and I thought here we go again! A girl gets undressed and a woman looks coquettishly in the mirror, the director is wanting to make easy buck. But then comes the line " Maine charge diya nahi hai ab tak " and I know that the director, the writer and the protagonist Raveena, are up for serious cinema. A suspence series with exciting twists, the nuances of emotions , the subplots all keeping up with the main story. Being from a Political background and also from hills, I couldn't find a single loop hole. Be it the language, the bonding of locals, a retired police man's prompt advices, relationship between the politicians and the stuck between them DC or a hawaldar quipping, humare kshetra se jitti hai, every single aspect was perfect. The story writer has done a very good job despite that there are minor similarities to a French movie , but he has created a masterpiece. Dialogues are crisp, not a word useless! Direction is excellent and camera doesn't fail to capture Himanchal scenic beauty. As far as acting goes, I am wondering where was Raveena all these years. Why audience had no idea of her acting skills. She is absolutely brilliant here. To match her skills Chatterjee does a wonderful act. Infact all the actors and the characters are perfect in the story. It seems the whole team from the director to actors was out there to create a great series an absolute perfection. Meghna, Zakir, Ashuutosh Rana and all the other actors, like the boys the teenaged girl, cafe owner his wife every one was relatable and were amazing. Great work by the whole team 👏. Waiting for the second season. I hope the same team comes together once again. Of course with the Rabbit and that reflection in the water.
