A masterpiece. Disturbing, gut wrenching, and incredibly difficult to watch— this series is absolutely incredible. Absolutely don’t watch this if you have a weak stomach or if you’re going to take it as a personal attack. The depictions of racism are obviously horrific and with the supernatural themes it makes it theatrical but the racism is REAL and RAW. So many horrible things that are depicted in this show are real things that we choose to look away from. Such an impactful story, and brilliant way of telling it. Not to mention the acting!! These actors and actresses are by far some of the most incredible performers. The raw emotion in their eyes says it all from episode to episode is stunning. Very beautiful and disturbing and horrifying. All in all, this show is incredible. 10/10 would recommend. Please just see the deeper meanings to all of these scenes.
