This was a phenomenal movie! Carrie Mulligan should receive an Oscar for her role in which she proved to be totally believable as she revealed many varied and demanding levels of emotion and character. The rest of the cast showed incredibly strong performances, each of which was worthy of an Oscar as well! Her boyfriend was irresistibly and incredibly charming and clever as well as showing deep emotion. Another Outstanding performance of great strength was performed by the lawyer who had allowed Nina’s rapist go free and later shows deep regret for doing so. But one of the most outstanding, convincing displays of the highest level of fear and horror as he is fighting for his life I have ever seen before in any movie, is mastered by Ninas rapist. There’s no way of predicting where the plot is going to lead throughout the entire movie. Although disturbing in its nature and certain scenes, there are some wonderful tongue in cheek lines! Well directed , well acted and well filmed, this meaningful story Is well worth seeing!
