Life drama of a mature struggling couple who are somehow 3 decades together.Film begins wife ordering husband yo make tea.In 5 minutes,we know,she is dominating & he is soft frail & submissive.She enjoys bullying him & he suffers silently.We know the crack will appear soon.He calls their only son to be present as he reveals his plan to leave her.Later he tells it to his wife that he is leaving her for good.Yes,there is another woman.While she is outraged,shocked to hear his plan,he leaves her.Rest of the movie,she tries to reconcile but he remains adamant.In that we see she was really in love with him but could not established a love-bond.A dialogue by 3 lady sum up the triangle."We were 3 persons in pain.Now 2 are happy."A great work by writer Director William Nicholson,good music by Alex Heffes,great performance by Bill Nighy,Annette Bening & Josh O'connar.To humiliate him further,she buys a dog & give him her husband name.

I knew today her birthday.Decided to watch her best film.Yes,Charlize Theron 45 is great actress.She is Afro-American & she showed her full range pure love-hate in the movie.She is a Street hooker.Hitchhiker promising sex & sometime kicked/bled to death by Sadist.She takes revenge.Kill 7 for their money & car ruthlessly.All for love for a little pretty girl or her own lost childhood self.They have some moments together.Soon it starts getting dark & boring!She let her go.Police encircle her.Love verdicts against her.You can not stop your tears.At the end killed by lethal injection.Praise for writer/director Patty Jenkins,music by BT,Cinematography Steven Berstein.Thanks Charlize,I'm alive I haven't suffered hell like you.Making my Friday worthwhile.

When husband doesn't love you,he's not responsible,another advantage seeker,what a wife can do?Seek job in another city to begin all over again.Try to come close to other people assuming love-humanity still survive in this cut-throat-world.She doesn't find a perfect replacement.Hubby is stalking her.The end is tragic!Nina Hoss,the Barbara Cyclist wins my heart again.Loving daughter try to live an ideal life in tough non-ideal world.She wins deservingly Best Actress German Silver Bear.Director Christian Petzold makes me think again.I must see 8 other German Films.Hans Fromm is his choice Cinematographer.Stefen Will present matching background music.I would like to see the film again.

Its a Danish family drama which happen to all of us.The main character mother,grandmother,mother in law,wife,friend invite all the members of her 3 generation to meet one last time on a weekend.Lets us enjoy one more time get together,wine & supper.Esther is too sick & old.She wants to end her life with everybody's consent.Ghita Norby(Esther),Morten Grunwald,Paprica Steen,Danica Curcic & Jens Albinus team made it a great picture.Film is directed by Billie August who is also famous cinematographer,scriptwriter.Annette Focks added light music in the background which is beauty of the solemn film.Beautiful cinematography by Dirk Bruel.In San Sebastian film Festival,audience gave 20 minute standing ovation to the movie.Here is my 'Thums up'.

This is a family folk song sung in the countyrside.There are two aged brother apart since decade.One falls short of breath/energy & other has a stroke.Endtime,so,one decides to meet another on a slow Lawnmover,5 miles an hour covering distance of 300 miles.Family is indeed a strong bundle of stick together.Except yor brother know one know u better.Brother is brother forever.There is also loving relationship between daughter & father.Brother meet again & make peace.Good film by David Lynch.Supported by once spouse Mary Sweeny,Composer Angelo Badalamenti.Film won 12 awards & 29 nominations.

During Corona Pandemic,its arduous to imagine life & family of a British Doctor who served cholera patient at a time local were against White Englishmen.Even his glamorous London wife was not keen to be in diseased town/village of China.Examplary Doctor acts responsibly,devote his life to service like missionary.His wife sees his better self,she too join a Convent to teach children.When the couple come intimately close to each other,real grace comes after sex/passions/guilt.Doctor dies.She returns to London with many sad memories & a child.A masterpiece by Director John Curran.Adaptation of a famous Book.Great music by Alexandra Desplat.Exellent cinematography.2 hours passed pleasantly.

The film is about family love harmony & cruel separation.Nazi pick up a loving Jew family.Separate them to send them to the death Camp.Little Sarah escapes to find a long tragic life all alone.She never meet her family again.She decides to start a fresh in USA.She marries & raises a family with new name & identity.A french Journalist searches her life in the ruins in France,America & Italy.At the end of the film,she finds the truth,the key&tragic end of Sarah.Its a difficult complex life story.I think the viewer must search for Sarah & the key.Journalist find her.She is so pleased to name her daughter "Sarah'.End brings painful tears.Young Director Gilles Brenner has made a masterpiece.

Poet Jacob meet Melanie&Chris in the Nazi Camp.He helps promising children.Both are too close to each other.At release both are separated being American&Irish.They leave crying rivers.Jacob is transferred to Psychiatry ward.Decades later,they found each other address.Melanie is married to a Professor,she has son,grandson.They live in a picturesque country home in Quebec Valley.Anyway,3 meet again.They forget the long past & feel the snug,cuddle&deep intimacy.Prof. allow kid lovers to meet & share privacy.Film is around Susan Sarandon,husband Christopher Plummer,Poet Max von Sydow who is some match to old C.P,Gabriel Byrne,ex-lover.Great direction by Paulo barjman,beautiful camera work by Luc Montpellier,mood making music Normand Corbell.First line will inspire u.Do I believe in God?Does God believe in me?Lovers must meet again.Love must love.Film was a gift of God on a Corona Sunday!

Exiled Chilean Poet Pablo Nerudo come to stay at Italian Island.Local Fisherman's son Mario doesn't like fishing.He takes up job as Cycle Postman.Village Post gest most of the mail for Poet & so he meets often,delivers letters&packages everyday to the Poet.They develop friendship.Ambitious Postman want to become a poet & lover.Generous Pablo helps him.Mario is able to write& marry sweetheart Beatrice whom he meets in Vino e Cucina Tavern.There is truce,Pablo returns to Chile.Many years later,he comes to visit him.He could see his son,his wife as the Postman is dead in violent demonstrations.He leaves him a touching audio message.In real life,hero Massimo dies a day after the final shooting.The actor was a severe heart patient.
