The reviewer below me must be a real joker to think that this was a comedy because it was the antithesis of that. I heard it was a real tear jerker so it took until tonight for me to finally see it. The acting was simply amazing and Brendans performance was well deserving of receiving the Oscar for best actor. This is a unbiased review from an avid fan of film, not a semi-professional.

No horror movie comes close to this classic and no horror movie ever will.

If you're into slasher/Gore movies then this one delivers 3 fold. Enjoy but don't bring your kids!

If you're a Universal Studios fan, do not miss this gem.

I just finished watching this movie and I have quite a bit of mixed emotions. Let's be clear about one thing, this or any other horror movie will never come close to The Exorcist. The Exorcist was way ahead of its time when it came out in 1973. It's pretty sad when a movie that came out in 1973 out does a 2023 movie in vulgar and shock value when it's more acceptable today. There's so much more that could've been done with this movie to make it more appealing to the avid horror movie fan. Perhaps when they make movies like this, they should have the true fans have a say in how it's made. I feel Ellen Burstyn made sure her eyes were gauged out so she couldn't witness the travesty that took place and I now know why she demanded twice her fee to make it. The ending wasn't too bad, it took my original 2 star review, to a 3 star. I'm available if any producer wants my advice on how to make a real good Exorcist movie.This is an unbiased review from a real person, not a semi-professional.

I have ambivalent feelings towards this movie. It started out with a brilliant idea and then it became utter nonsense at times. I can't help but feel that there were hints of man hating and man bashing throughout the movie. Why is it ok for Barbies to have their own private club and girls night every night but when the men get their chance its frowned upon? In the real world females are just as bad as males and sometimes worse. They show in the movie how females manipulate men just like in the real world so I feel the film is biased towards females. Ryan and Margot were brilliant in their roles and I loved Rheas small role in the film. This is an unbiased review from a real person who loves the movie experience, not a fake review written by a semi-professional writer.

Don't believe these fake reviews by probably paid, semi-professional writers. This movie was one big bore with no thought at all put into it. It's just a quick cash grab rebounding off the first one. This is an unbiased review from a real person who loves movies.
