Battle Royale was a pretty good movie but there's a few things I didn't like and thought we're very confusing. So basically it starts of saying how teens and adolescents are misbehaving or something so they start this survival program (Battle Royale) to teach them a lesson. That's a pretty dumb and unrealistic plot if you ask me. And also the acting isn't the best but it was a pretty gory movie for it's time, so maybe not so many people auditioned so I'll give this movie a pass on that. Another thing that I didn't like is that BR throws in a lot of random flashbacks that contribute nothing to the film. Lastly, this movie is incredibly unrealistic. Like I said in the beginning parents literally voted for CHILDREN to fight to the DEATH to teach them a lesson another example is the guns the students are given literally have INFINITE AMMO and it said or showed nowhere in the moviethat extra ammo was in their survival bags also this girl got shot 5 times in the chest and still got up to kill the person she was fighting and one of the main antagonists got his eyes burned so he could literally see NOTHING and still managed to shoot someone in the leg. WHAT TYPE OF LOGIC IS THAT! Most of the fighting scenes were boring and predictable and there was no humor during the whole 2 hours, not even one unfunny joke. The whole film was just about highschool freshmen fighting for 1 hour 30 minutes.
But on the bright side the CGI was good and it was full of action.
